LuLu's Embraces Our Communities Through Service

Who Knew That Mexican Food Could Put So Many Smiles on So Many Faces?

Creating delicious family-style Mexican food for our customers in Palo Alto, Los Altos, Menlo Park and San Carlos is a part of who we are Embracing these communities through service is also something that comes naturally to us. Our LuLu's restaurants and our family of employees live in the communities that we serve. Our children and employees attend the local preschools, elementary, high schools, community colleges and universities. Many educators that work in these institutions dine at LuLu's. As a result, LuLu's is especially interested in helping schools and non-profits within our communities. Annually, we end up donating hundreds of gift certificates and free Mexican food. It's a great way to bring people together, and we're glad that our Mexican food makes so many people happy! We are givers and we try to fulfill as many donation requests as possible. If you've got a good cause, please e-mail info@lulusmexicanfood.com and tell us about your event, who it benefits, and why we should help out. We prefer email because it's fast, and eco-friendly. Remember to include your contact information and mailing address in the email.

EHP, along with the St. Vincent De Paul Society, prepares and serves hot meals to needy individuals and families every Wednesday night at St. Francis of Assisi Church in East Palo Alto. Some of those served are homeless, while others are families with children who take advantage of this program to conserve the limited funds they have.

For the past three years LuLu's has donated leftover prepared food to EHP on a weekly basis. Food that would have been discarded is packaged, stored and delivered to EHP and served at these weekly dinners. LuLu's has donated hundreds of pounds of food annually to help disadvantaged individuals feed their families.
